The third season of “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)” is coming!

“Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)” is a multi-season drama about three women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who experience shakeups in their marriages when they discover their husbands are having affairs. The drama is penned by famous makjang drama writer Im Sung Han (also known as Phoebe), and the previous seasons starred actors including Sung Hoon, Lee Tae Gon, Lee Ga Ryung, Lee Min Young, Jeon No Min, Jun Soo Kyung, and more.

Earlier this week, it was announced that actors Sung Hoon and Lee Tae Gon will not be appearing in the third season. Going forward, Kang Shin Hyo will take over Sung Hoon’s role as Pan Sa Hyun, and Ji Young San will be replacing Lee Tae Gon’s role as Shin Yoo Shin.

In the new teaser, ominous music fills the air as Ji Ah (Park Seo Kyung) walks up the stairs and a voice narrates, “That person has come. You know, right?” The text, “Scriptwriter (Phoebe) Im Sung Han has returned,” appears on screen, marking the start of a new season. Sa Pi Young (Park Joo Mi) quickly walks somewhere, and Ji Ah asks someone, “Who are You?” The teaser pans to Ah Mi (Song Ji In), who has just walked out of the shower. Kim Dong Mi (Lee Hye Sook) answers, “Did you not hear from your mom? This is your dad’s girlfriend,” purposefully fueling Ji Ah’s anger. Immediately, Ji Ah yells, “Get lost!”

In a state of rage, Sa Pi Young throws down a porcelain vase while Kim Dong Mi comments in the background, “You can’t hide it from her forever. Ji Ah finding out is only a matter of time.” Shin Yoo Shin (Ji Young San) and Ah Mi are shocked seeing the broken fragments of the vase as Sa Pi Young angrily shouts, “Don’t interfere!” with a deadly gaze. In response, Kim Dong Mi slaps her face, escalating the tension even further. However, in the next scene, Kim Dong Mi looks terrified as she runs out of the house in tears. She narrates, “The director was the only man in my life.”

At the hospital, the nurse encouragingly states, “The baby is coming out soon,” as Song Won (Lee Min Young) gives birth and Pan Sa Hyun (Kang Shin Hyo) waits nervously. The teaser raises the question of how the couple’s life will change in the upcoming season.

Boo Hye Ryung (Lee Ga Ryung), who expressed curiosity about Seo Ban (Moon Sung Ho) after holding a tearful press conference on her divorce, remarks, “If you want to catch a tiger, you have to enter the tiger’s cave.” Furthermore, Lee Si Eun (Jun Soo Kyung) looks more sophisticated than ever as she nervously gets on an elevator with a man. Voices in the background narrate, “You were so natural. It seems like you two dated for many years.”

Finally, the teaser shockingly ends with Ji Ah yelling, “Kim Dong Mi!” The young girl runs towards a fallen Kim Dong Mi with her hands outstretched as if she is about to choke the other.

The production team shared, “‘Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3’ is an extension to the shocking ending in Season 2 as well as Phoebe’s best work. Please show lots of anticipation and interest for ‘Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3,’ which will properly showcase a tornado of fate that will shake up everything.”
