Watch: Rain, Kim Bum, Uee, And More Show Great Chemistry Both On And Off Camera While Filming "Ghost Doctor"

“Ghost Doctor” shared a new making-of clip for episodes 11 and 12!

Helmed by “Heirs” director Boo Sung Chul, tvN’s “Ghost Doctor” is a fantasy medical drama about two doctors who could not be more different in terms of their backgrounds, skills, or personalities, but who end up combining bodies and spirits. Rain stars as genius thoracic surgeon Cha Young Min, while Kim Bum plays silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak.

During an argument scene between Rain and Kim Bum, Sung Dong Il stands by and improvises with a disapproving comment towards Kim Bum. The cast and crew immediately burst into laughter, and Sung Dong Il quickly explains, “All the kids are exhausted! All the kids on set. [Young Min] told me to do it!”

At night, Uee and Rain film a romantic scene from the past and laugh about how it makes them cringe. Once he notices the making-of camera, Rain asks, “Did you eat? What did you eat?” Uee jokes in response, “Since when have you asked about my meals?” Rain adds, “I’m always concerned.”

While they prepare for the take of the scene in which Kim Bum reveals his secret, Uee jokingly tells Rain that he looks like a frog then praises Kim Bum by saying that he has deep eyes. Rain overhears and angrily comments, “I’m like a frog, but he has deep eyes? Talk about stuff like that when I’m not here.” He then adds, “I’ll have to share this at our press conference. I’m like a frog, and Seung Tak has deep eyes.”

Right after, the director tells Rain to step closer towards Kim Bum. Rain responds, “I have approached him! It’s not like we can kiss.” Uee comments from the side, “If this continues, I think those two might end up hugging each other.”

Later, the trio is joined by Apink‘s Son Naeun for the scene where Kim Bum carries Uee to a hospital bed. As Rain starts to jokingly check Uee’s forehead with a stethoscope, Son Naeun copies him, making Uee call out, “Why my forehead? Don’t you join in too!” Once they start filming, Son Naeun grabs a random prop to give Rain, cracking everyone up and leaving him to ask her, “Why did you give me this? It’s not this!” Son Naeun explains, “I couldn’t see!”

Back at Cha Young Min’s house, Kim Bum and Rain showcase how much work goes into their scenes as they take turns filming the exact same movements. When Kim Bum and Uee start filming, she accidentally skips over a line, but the two continue seamlessly. Once Kim Bum explains the error, he adds, “But our chemistry was great.”

At the end, Uee is out shopping for clothes with Rain and Kim Bum. While she picks out a variety of options for them, they both ignore her suggestions and choose their own styles.
