Actors Park Si Eun and Jin Tae Hyun have shared the good news that she is pregnant with their second child!

On February 21, Park Si Eun shared on Instagram, “Our family has some good news. We are welcoming a new member of the family! We are grateful that a new life has come to us, and it’s something the three of us have waited for, so we’re very happy. I’ve been suffering a bit from morning sickness since the start of January, but I’m grateful even for that. As day after day went by, I’ve finally passed into the stable period at 12 weeks. Thank you to everyone who has cheered me on, and I’ll cheer you on as well. I hope that everyone can stay healthy. Welcome, baby. Let’s stay healthy together.”

Park Si Eun and Jin Tae Hyun became a couple through the 2010 drama “Pure Pumpkin Flower” and dated for five years before getting married in 2015. The couple have been active together in volunteering and charity work since they started dating. During their volunteer work, they came to know a young university student, and eventually adopted her as their daughter. On SBS’s “Same Bed, Different Dreams – You Are My Destiny 2,” the couple talked about their daughter and their plans to have another child together.

In Jin Tae Hyun’s post, he shared that this had been a difficult journey for the couple, as Park Si Eun experienced two miscarriages last year. He wrote, “In 2021, we experienced two miscarriages. It felt like the sky was falling in on us. But last December, another natural miracle found its way to us again. Now that we’re in the stable period, both mother and baby are healthy. This is the first time that we’ve come this far as a married couple. Last winter, it felt like time was standing still, and it was very hard. My healthy wife fights through even when she didn’t get a good result, so please cheer her on so that she can complete a healthy pregnancy this time. I will lay down everything to help her. My wife, our daughter, our two pets, and now one new member.”
