Esom Unable To Take Part In 2nd Season Of “Taxi Driver” Due To Schedule Conflicts
On March 8, JoyNews24 reported that Esom decided to not participate in the second season of “Taxi Driver.” In response to the report, a source from Esom’s agency Artist Company stated, “It has ultimately been decided that Esom will not be starring in the SBS drama ‘Taxi Driver 2.'” They continued, “Her casting was discussed, but it is difficult for her to star in the new season due to scheduling issues.” Esom is preparing to star in upcoming projects including “Black Knight,” “Starlight Falls,” and “Gil Bok Soon” (literal titles).
Starring Lee Je Hoon, Esom, Kim Eui Sung, and Pyo Ye Jin, “Taxi Driver” is about a mysterious taxi service that delivers justice and revenge on behalf of victims who cannot get help from the law. Lee Je Hoon stars as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works as a driver for the service, while Esom stars as passionate prosecutor Kang Ha Na who begins to grow suspicious of both Kim Do Gi and the unusual taxi service.
“Taxi Driver” is currently gearing up for Season 2.
