Shin Dong Yup Tests Positive For COVID-19

Shin Dong Yup has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On March 9, Shin Dong Yup’s agency SM C&C announced that he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Hello, this is SM C&C.

We are informing you that our artist Shin Dong Yup’s PCR test results have come back positive on March 9.

Shin Dong Yup has has received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. He is currently in self-quarantine at home and receiving treatment, and he is in good condition. We will faithfully comply with the guidelines of the disease control authorities and take any necessary measures.

We will prioritize the health and safety of artist and do our best to help him recover as soon as possible.

Shin Dong Yup is a part of many variety shows including KBS’s “Immortal Songs,” SBS’s “Animal Farm,” SBS’s “My Little Old Boy,” tvN’s “Amazing Saturday,” and Coupang Play’s “SNL Korea 2.”
