Watch: Lee Kwang Soo Is Terrified By Someone's Grocery Checkout Items In "The Killer's Shopping List" Teaser

tvN released a new teaser for the upcoming drama “The Killer’s Shopping List”!

Based on a novel by Kang Ji Young, “The Killer’s Shopping List” is a comedy mystery thriller about an ordinary neighborhood on the outskirts of Seoul. When a mysterious body is found in the vicinity of an apartment building, a supermarket receipt becomes a key piece of evidence that kicks off an entertaining hunt for the killer.

Lee Kwang Soo stars as Ahn Dae Sung, the son of a supermarket owner. He was once considered a genius with impressive memorization skills, but his life took a turn for the worse after an incident at his mom’s supermarket when he was 10 years old. Despite his outstanding memory, he failed the civil service exam three years in a row.

The newly released teaser depicts Ahn Dae Sung as a listless cashier at a supermarket. However, the grocery items placed on the conveyer belt for checkout begin to catch Ahn Dae Sung’s attention. Starting with gloves stained with ketchup and tomato paste, the mysterious person also purchases a watermelon with an ax lodged into it and a can of tomato sauce with a ripped teddy bear stuck helplessly inside.

Finally, Ahn Dae Sung screams as he makes eye contact with a bloody fish stabbed with a knife. The receipt prints out with the text, “Supermarket comic mystery drama. The culprit is in the receipt.” In the background, a mysterious voice comments, “Please throw away the receipt.”

“The Killer’s Shopping List” will premiere in April. In the meantime, check out the teaser below!
