Kim Chang Wan revealed that he had first received a casting offer from the show 10 years ago. “It’s an amazing thing to call a song ‘immortal,'” he said. “I felt that I had to wait a decade to see if my songs really wouldn’t rot away with the passing of time.” The guest performers are Crying Nut, Lee Seung Yoon, JANNABI’s Choi Jung Hoon, Forestella, Jung Dong Ha, Kim Jae Hwan, PENTAGON, traditional Korean music/rock crossover band Jambinai, EXID’s Solji, and Gong So Won.

Performing in the first part of the special were JANNABI’s Choi Jung Hoon, Jung Dong Ha, Solji, PENTAGON, and Lee Seung Yoon.

PENTAGON performed fourth, covering Sanulrim’s song “Rascal.” In the dressing room interview, the group shared their ambitions to win, saying, “We’ve appeared on the show multiple times but we haven’t gotten a win yet.” The group performed with five people as Wooseok and Yeo One (who is also recovering from a car accident) have tested positive for COVID-19, and Yan An was not present.

Their fun dance performance and explosive energy had Kim Chang Wan standing up and enjoying the performance. At the end, Kim Chang Wan said, “It felt like you were in zero gravity when you danced. It was really fun to watch you look weightless.”

Choi Jung Hoon, who performed first, won over all the other performers until Lee Seung Yoon, who performed last and took the final win on the first part of the special.
