NMIXX's Haewon Injures Ankle; To Sit Out Parts Of Upcoming KCON Performance

NMIXX’s Haewon will not be able to fully participate in the group’s upcoming KCON performance due to an unexpected injury.

On April 26, JYP Entertainment announced that Haewon had suffered a minor ankle injury during practice last week and would therefore only be partially participating in NMIXX’s performance at KCON 2022 Premiere on May 7.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

Last week, NMIXX member Haewon suffered a minor ankle injury during practice, so she visited the hospital and underwent a thorough examination.

While there will be no hindrance to her everyday life, the doctor advised that it was necessary for her to refrain from excessive movement, and so she will temporarily be avoiding strenuous movements and focusing on her treatment.

Therefore, we are informing you that Haewon will only be partially participating in the “KCON 2022 Premiere in Seoul” performance that is scheduled for Saturday, May 7.

As our agency considers our artist’s health our top priority, we will do our utmost to help her make a quick recovery.
