Jun So Min, Yum Jung Ah, And Kim Jae Hwa Give Spying A Try In New Drama “Cleaning Up”
A remake of the British television series of the same name, “Cleaning Up” will tell the story of three cleaners at a securities firm that attempt to forge a new destiny for themselves after accidentally overhearing some key information about insider trading.
Yum Jung Ah plays Eo Yong Mi, the hardworking mother of two young daughters who bears a huge sense of responsibility as her family’s breadwinner. Jun So Min stars as Eo Yong Mi’s younger co-worker Ahn In Kyung who is working towards her dream of saving up enough money to open her own moving café with a food truck, while Kim Jae Hwa plays Meng Soo Ja, a resourceful and deceptively charming cleaner who can befriend anyone who might be of use to her.
The newly released stills show Eo Yong Mi, Ahn In Kyung, and Meng Soo Ja working hard at a security firm. They have access to all the places in the buildings, and the employees who treat them like walls are bound to expose various information in front of them. One day, they come across valuable information and start living very different lives.
More photos show the transformations of Eo Yong Mi, Ahn In Kyung, and Meng Soo Ja. Eo Yong Mi is dressed in an extravagant outfit that is completely different from her usual work apparel, and Ahn In Kyung is standing guard with wide eyes. Meng Soo Ja exudes a powerful aura as she stands against the wall with a disdainful expression.
The production team commented, “Eo Yong Mi, Ahn In Kyung, and Meng Soo Ja, who used to be ordinary cleaners, will unite as ‘sweepers’ who will sweep information about stocks by chance. Please look forward to the background of why they teamed up and what kind of life-changing history they will write.”
“Cleaning Up” will premiere on June 4 at 10:30 p.m. KST, taking over the time slot currently occupied by “My Liberation Notes.” Check out a teaser here!
