June Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from May 4 to June 4.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,280,925, marking a 12.71 percent rise in its score since April (the last time the rankings were published). High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “compete,” “reveal,” and “eliminate.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 79.73 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, KBS’s “Open Concert” entered the rankings at second place for June.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) held onto its spot at third place with a brand reputation index of 4,503,358, marking a 4.83 percent increase in its score since April.
SBS’s “Running Man” came in fourth with a brand reputation index of 3,642,003, while MBC’s “Radio Star” rounded out the top five with a total index of 3,436,828.
