Watch: KARD, BTOB's Eunkwang, fromis_9, "Britain's Got Talent" Winner Paul Potts, Lee Mujin, And Kim Ki Tae Cover Baek Ji Young On "Immortal Songs"
The latest episode of “Immortal Songs” featured covers of legendary singer Baek Ji Young’s greatest hits!
On the June 25 broadcast of the KBS 2TV singing competition, KARD, fromis_9, BTOB’s Eunkwang, “Britain’s Got Talent” winner Paul Potts and Wan Yi Hwa, Lee Mujin, and Kim Ki Tae faced off with performances of some of Baek Ji Young’s most iconic songs.
As a fun special performance unrelated to the competition, Baek Ji Young teamed up with Hwang Chi Yeol—who appeared on the episode as a special MC—to perform “My Ear’s Candy,” her famous duet with 2PM’s Taecyeon.

Kim Ki Tae, the winner of JTBC’s singing competition “Sing Again 2,” was up first, and he blew the audience away with a soaring reinterpretation of Baek Ji Young’s hit ballad “I Won’t Love.”
BTOB’s Eunkwang was the next to perform, and he wowed everyone with his moving rendition of Hyun Bin‘s “That Man,” the male version of Baek Ji Young’s famous song “That Woman” from the OST of the drama “Secret Garden.”
When it came time to announce the winner of the first round, the result turned out to be a perfect tie between the two singers.
English tenor Paul Potts and Myanmar refugee Wan Yi Hwa then joined forces for a beautiful duet version of Baek Ji Young’s “Don’t Forget Me” (from the OST of the hit drama “Iris”).
Next up was Lee Mujin, who thrilled the crowd with a fun rock remix of “Dash.”
fromis_9, the first group to perform that day, brought dancing to the table with a sensual cover of “Choice.”
Finally, KARD wrapped up the competition with a fiery performance of “Sad Salsa.”
In the end, Eunkwang and Kim Ki Tae were crowned joint winners of the episode—marking the first time in the 11-year history of “Immortal Songs” that the show ended in an all-kill tie.
