TWICE's Nayeon, BTS, TXT, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, BLACKPINK, And NCT DREAM Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on July 9!

TWICE’s Nayeon‘s solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” entered the chart at No. 1, making her the only female act to top the chart this year.

“IM NAYEON” also debuted at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart this week, making Nayeon the first K-pop soloist in history to top either chart. On top of that, she became the first K-pop soloist ever to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200 (where “IM NAYEON” debuted at No. 7) and the first female K-pop soloist to enter the top 5 of the Artist 100.

Meanwhile, BTS landed a total of four albums on the World Albums chart this week. Their anthology album “Proof” stayed strong at No. 2 in its third week on the chart, in addition to ranking high on several other Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200. “Love Yourself: Her” also came in at No. 7 on the World Albums chart, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 9, and “Map of the Soul: 7” at No. 11.

TXT’s latest mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” held steady at No. 3 in its eighth consecutive week on the chart, and it also spent a seventh week on the Billboard 200, where it is now tied for the longest-charting K-pop album of 2022.

SEVENTEEN’s latest studio album “Face the Sun” ranked No. 4 in its fourth week on the World Albums chart, and it also became the group’s first album ever to spend four weeks on the Billboard 200 this week.

Stray Kids’ mini album “ODDINARY” climbed back up to No. 8 in its 14th non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” followed at No. 10 in its 91st consecutive week on the chart.

Finally, NCT DREAM’s repackaged album “Beatbox” climbed back up to No. 12 in its fourth consecutive week on the chart.

Congratulations to all of the artists!
