NewJeans And WSG Wannabe Earn Double Crowns On Circle (Gaon) Weekly Charts

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the week of August 7 to 13!

Album Chart

NewJeans achieved a double crown on the Circle charts after topping both the physical album chart and Global K-Pop chart this week.

The rookie girl group’s self-titled EP “New Jeans” debuted at No. 1 on the weekly album chart, while the Weverse version of the EP charted separately at No. 5.

Girls’ Generation’s new album “FOREVER 1” entered the chart at No. 2, followed by ITZY’s “CHECKMATE” at No. 3 and SEVENTEEN’s “SECTOR 17” at No. 4.

Global K-Pop Chart

NewJeans’ hit debut track “Attention” climbed to No. 1 on this week’s Global K-Pop Chart (a new chart based on global streaming), while “Hype Boy“—another of their three title tracks—rose to No. 3.

After five consecutive weeks at No. 1, TWICE’s Nayeon‘s solo debut track “POP!” fell to No. 2 this week, followed by IVE’s “LOVE DIVE” at No. 4.

Finally, Girls’ Generation’s new title track “FOREVER 1” shot up to No. 5 on this week’s chart.

Overall Digital Chart

How Do You Play?” project group WSG Wannabe (Gaya-G) maintained their double crown this week, with their hit song “At That Moment” remaining No. 1 on both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart.

NewJeans’ “Attention” rose to No. 2 on this week’s overall digital chart, trailed by WSG Wannabe (4FIRE)’s “I Missed You” at No. 3 and IVE’s long-running hit “LOVE DIVE” at No. 4.

Finally, ITZY’s latest title track “SNEAKERS” held onto its spot at No. 5 for the week.

Streaming Chart

WSG Wannabe (Gaya-G)’s “At That Moment” and WSG Wannabe (4FIRE)’s “I Missed You” maintained their respective positions at No. 1 and No. 2 on this week’s streaming chart.

NewJeans’ “Attention” shot up to No. 3 this week, while IVE’s “LOVE DIVE” stayed strong at No. 4 and ITZY’s “SNEAKERS” held steady at No. 5.

Download Chart

Lim Young Woong continued to dominate the digital download chart this week, claiming the top three spots with “If We Ever Meet Again” at No. 1, “Our Blues” at No. 2, and “Rainbow” at No. 3.

Kim Ho Joong swept the next two spots on the chart, with his songs “PANORAMA” and “Promise” taking No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.

Social Chart

The top four artists on this week’s social chart remained exactly the same as last week: BTS held steady at No. 1, BLACKPINK at No. 2, Jessi at No. 3, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa at No. 4.

Finally, Choi Yu Ree rose to No. 5 for the week.
