Girl's Day's Minah Unable To Attend Seoul International Women's Film Festival As Ambassador Due To COVID-19 Diagnosis

Girl’s Day’s Minah has cancelled her upcoming appearances at the 24th Seoul International Women’s Film Festival after testing positive for COVID-19.

On August 24, the Seoul International Women’s Film Festival announced that Minah—who was appointed an official ambassador for this year’s festival—would be unable to attend due to being diagnosed with COVID-19.

The organizers of the film festival stated, “Due to our ambassador Bang Minah being diagnosed with COVID-19, she will not be participating in the opening ceremony on Thursday, August 25, and the ‘Girls Girls Girls’ star talk event on Friday, August 26 has been cancelled. All purchased tickets will be cancelled and refunded at 11 a.m.”

They went on to add, “The 24th Seoul International Women’s Film Festival will adhere to the guidelines of health authorities in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and we will do our utmost to hold a safe and healthy film festival. Thank you.”
