Park Eun Bin, (G)I-DLE, And More Win At The 49th Korean Broadcasting Awards

The 49th Korean Broadcasting Awards has announced its winners!

On September 5, the 49th Korean Broadcasting Awards held its ceremony where 26 programs and 18 individuals were awarded as the final winners.

While still riding the wave of success of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” Park Eun Bin won the Best Actress award for her role in “The King’s Affection.” She shared in her acceptance speech, “I’ve taken time to remember how the period was that I spent last year with ‘The King’s Affection.’ ‘The King’s Affection’ was a dream that gave me the chance to live as a king in the Joseon Dynasty and is both a character and project that I will remember and preciously cherish in the future.”

By unanimous vote, the late Song Hae was given the judge’s special award. Before passing away in June, the veteran MC hosted KBS’s “National Singing Contest” from 1988 for 34 years.

Best Drama: MBC’s “The Red Sleeve

Best Video Graphics: Kim Soo Kyum (MBC’s “The Red Sleeve”)

Best Variety Star: Jun Hyun Moo (MBC’s “The Manager”)

Best Singer: (G)I-DLE (MBC’s “Music Core”)

Best Actor: Park Eun Bin (KBS’s “The King’s Affection”)

Judge’s Special Award: Song Hae
