VERIVERY's Minchan Announces Hiatus Due To Health

VERIVERY’s Minchan will be going on a temporary hiatus due to health concerns.

After recently sitting out some of VERIVERY’s comeback promotions due to his health, Minchan has now officially announced a hiatus from activities in order to fully focus on his recovery.

On December 7, Jellyfish Entertainment released the following statement in English:

Announcement Regarding VERIVERY’s Minchan’s Future Activities

Hello,
This is Jellyfish Entertainment.

After much discussion and self-reflection, Minchan has made the decision to take a hiatus and focus on his recovery following medical advice that he has received on account of frequent deterioration in health and psychological well-being over the course of the recent album promotions.

As such, all official VERIVERY schedules from today onwards will be attended by the remaining 6 members.
We will be sure to follow up with another announcement once Minchan finds himself fit to resume schedules again.

We ask for all fans’ understanding in that such a decision was reached in order to prioritize the artist’s health and recuperation, and we will ensure that we will dedicate to making Minchan’s recovery our utmost priority.

Minchan previously took a health-related hiatus from activities two years ago, from October 2020 through May 2021.
