New characters are being introduced in Season 2 of “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” via a new teaser video, foreshadowing lots of exciting action to come!

Based on the novel of the same name, “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” is a tvN drama starring Kim Min Jae as Yoo Se Poong, a well-known internal medicine doctor who was expelled from the royal court after getting caught up in a conspiracy. In Season 1, he embarked on a mission to become a true doctor who heals the heart after meeting Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) and Gye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) in the strange and beautiful village of Gyesu.

The third teaser to be released introduces a band of new and unusual characters. Jeon Kang Il (Kang Young Seok) and Lee Seo Yi (Woo Davi) make Yoo Se Poong and Seo Eun Woo nervous with their sudden appearances. The mysterious Lee Seo Yi enters Gyesu Clinic escorted by a long line of guards and proudly declares herself the first love of Yoo Se Yeop (Yoo Se Poong). She brings unexpected chaos to the previous calm between Yoo Se Poong and Seo Eun Woo, and it’ll be interesting to see what exactly her appearance will mean for these two.

The downtown streets surrounding the Hanyang branch of the Gyesu Clinic is another sight worthy of attention. Yoo Se Poong not only captures the hearts of women in Gyesu with his stunning visuals but now also in the capital city. But then there is Jeon Kang Il, who provokes Yoo Se Poong by asking, “Are you even qualified to be a doctor?”

Season 2 will see the beloved cast of characters in a completely new setting since Yoo Se Poong received a call from the king himself and must move to the capital city of Hanyang. What adventures await him and Seo Eun Woo can be seen with the premiere of the new season!
