Chuu Donates All Proceeds From "Chuu Can Do It" YouTube Event

Chuu has recently made a generous donation!

This past week, Chuu’s personal YouTube channel Chuu Can Do It announced, “All earnings from the sales of items from Jiwoo’s store have been donated to the Korea Music Development Corporation Aggregate.”

They added a photo of the donation certificate which lists “Chuu Can Do It – Kim Ji Woo” as the donor and reads, “This certificate is given to thank said donor for donating to the Korea Music Development Corporation Aggregate which will help improve the welfare of musicians. The donated amount will be used preciously towards the independence and music promotions of senior and rookie musicians.”

Late last month, BlockBerryCreative announced Chuu’s removal from LOONA, citing “violent language and misuse of power” toward a staff member as their reason. Chuu has since spoken out to personally deny the agency’s claims.

On December 31, Chuu will team up with fellow ’99 line female idols Oh My Girl’s Arin, Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung, (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi, and Choi Ye Na for a special performance at the 2022 MBC Music Festival.
