NCT DREAM And NewJeans Earn Double Crowns On Circle (Gaon) Weekly Charts

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the week of December 18 to 24!

Album Chart

NCT DREAM achieved a double crown this week, topping both the physical album chart and the digital download chart with their new winter special mini album “Candy” and its title track of the same name.

“Candy” swept both of the top two spots on this week’s physical album chart, with the regular version and the SMC version of the album debuting separately at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

Red Velvet’s latest mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” climbed back up to No. 3 this week, while MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul’s special single album “The Present” entered the chart at No. 4.

Finally, (G)I-DLE’s “I love” shot back up to No. 5 on this week’s chart.

NCT DREAM’s hit title track “Candy” topped the digital download chart for the second consecutive week.

Lim Young Woong swept the next two spots on the chart, with “London Boy” and “Polaroid” maintaining their respective positions at No. 2 and No. 3.

NewJeans’ new pre-release single “Ditto” debuted at No. 4 on the chart, followed by Lee Young Ji’s “Show Me the Money 11” hit “NOT SORRY” (featuring pH-1 and produced by Slom) at No. 5.

Overall Digital Chart

NewJeans also achieved a double crown on this week’s Circle charts, with their new single “Ditto” topping both the overall digital chart and the Global K-Pop chart.

Younha’s viral hit “Event Horizon” stayed strong at No. 2 on the overall digital chart, while NCT DREAM’s “Candy” rose to No. 3 for the week.

Lee Young Ji’s “NOT SORRY” claimed No. 4 on the chart, and NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” rounded out the top five.

Streaming Chart

The same five songs topped this week’s overall digital chart and streaming chart, but in different orders.

Younha’s “Event Horizon” remained No. 1 on the streaming chart, followed by NewJeans’ “Ditto” and “Hype Boy” at No. 2 and No. 3, Lee Young Ji’s “NOT SORRY” at No. 4, and NCT DREAM’s “Candy” at No. 5.

Global K-Pop Chart

NewJeans’ “Ditto” entered the Global K-Pop Chart at No. 1 this week, trailed by LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” at No. 2, NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” at No. 3, and BLACKPINK’s “Shut Down” at No. 4.

Finally, NCT DREAM’s “Candy” shot up the chart by 35 spots to take No. 5 for the week.

Social Chart

BLACKPINK continued their reign at No. 1 on the social chart this week, followed by BTS at No. 2, NewJeans at No. 3, Choi Yu Ree at No. 4, and Stray Kids at No. 5.
