Watch: WayV Covers aespa, NCT DREAM, NewJeans, SHINee, And GOT the beat On "Weekly Idol"

On the latest episode of “Weekly Idol,” WayV showed off their versatility by covering a number of hit songs!

WayV appeared as guests on the January 11 episode of the MBC every1 variety show, where they performed their new title track “Phantom” and played games together with the MCs.

The group also performed a special SM dance medley in which they took on the choreographies to aespa’s “Illusion,” NCT DREAM’s “Candy,” and SHINee’s “Sherlock.”

At another point in the show, Ten, YangYang, and Xiaojun expressed their desire to attempt the show’s signature “Random Play Dance” game, leading to an impromptu three-member face-off in which the idols competed by dancing to snippets of random songs.

The songs that the WayV members covered on the spot included NCT DREAM’s “My First and Last,” NewJeans’ “Hype Boy,” and GOT the beat’s “Step Back.”
