TXT Is Now Artist With 2nd Highest 1st-Week Sales In Hanteo History

TXT has become the artist with the second-highest first-week sales in all of Hanteo history!

Last week, TXT made their return with their latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” on January 27. By the end of the day, the album had already sold over 1.8 million copies, smashing TXT’s previous first-week sales record of 1,248,370 copies (set by their 2022 mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child“) within just its first day of sales alone.

Hanteo Chart has now reported that after soaring past 2 million sales in less than six days, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” went on to sell an impressive total of 2,180,889 copies in the first week of its release (January 27 to February 2).

This figure makes TXT the artist with the second-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history, bested only by BTS.

“The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” has also achieved the fourth-highest first-week sales of any album in Hanteo history, following the BTS albums “Map of the Soul: 7,” “Proof,” and “BE.”
