WINNER's Song Mino Steps Down As Judge On

WINNER’s Song Mino has stepped down from his position as judge on the new JTBC idol survival show “Peak Time.”

Peak Time,” which just aired its premiere this week, is a brand-new idol competition program in which teams battle for the chance to become the next “worldwide idol group.” Unlike other audition programs, its contestants consist entirely of male idols who have already debuted, whether currently active or part of a disbanded group.

On February 16, the producers of “Peak Time” officially announced that due to scheduling conflicts, Song Mino would no longer be appearing as a judge on the show starting from the second round of competition—and that MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul would be filling in as his replacement.

“Due to his schedule, judge Song Mino was inevitably only able to join us for Round 1 of the show,” they said. “Starting from Round 2, Moonbyul will be joining as a judge.”

Apart from Song Mino and Moonbyul, the show’s star-studded panel of judges also includes Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany, Jay Park, Highlight’s Lee Gikwang, and INFINITE’s Kim Sungkyu.
