Jeon Do Yeon, Sol Kyung Gu, Esom, And More Hide Their Duality And Secrets In Upcoming Action Film "Kill Boksoon"

Netflix’s upcoming film “Kill Boksoon” has unveiled eye-catching character stills!

“Kill Boksoon” is an action film about the hitman industry’s legendary killer Gil Bok Soon (Jeon Do Yeon). Right before she’s scheduled to renew her contract with the company, she gets swept up in an inevitable confrontation where she has no choice but to kill or be killed. The film will be helmed by director Byun Sung Hyun of “The Merciless,” which had a midnight screening at the 70th Cannes Film Festival.

In the new stills, Gil Bok Soon grabs attention as the greatest hitman of MK. ENT, the top tier company in the contract killing industry. Gil Bok Soon, often referred to as “Kill Boksoon” by industry insiders, is a skillful killer and a single mother who finds her relationship with her 15-year-old daughter to be difficult. Jeon Do Yeon is expected to portray the troubles that Gil Bok Soon goes through as she juggles between the two different lives as a killer and a mother of an adolescent daughter with her unique and delicate acting skills.

Sol Kyung Gu will play Cha Min Gyu, the CEO of MK. ENT where Gil Bok Soon works. Cha Min Gyu is the one who conquered the contract killing industry and established the rules. He is also the master and boss who recognized the talent of 17-year-old Gil Bok Soon and trained her to become a legendary killer. Anyone who violates the industry’s rules gets punished with death, but Cha Min Gyu makes an exception for Gil Bok Soon.

Esom will play the role of Cha Min Hee, the younger sister of Cha Min Gyu and the director of MK. ENT. Min Hee, who has exceptionally deep affection for her older brother, does not like the fact that her brother tends to be generous when it comes to Gil Bok Soon-related matters. Esom’s character is expected to add excitement to the story as she holds two opposing emotions—affection for her brother Cha Min Gyu and jealousy over Gil Bok Soon—at the same time.

Goo Kyo Hwan will portray Han Hee Sung, an affiliated killer of MK. ENT. Han Hee Sung, whose killing skills are A-level but for some reason remains as a C-level killer, is fond of and respects his senior assassin Gil Bok Soon.

Last but not least, Kim Si Ah will play Gil Bok Soon’s daughter Gil Jae Young. 15-year-old Jae Young, who does not know her mother’s profession but lives alone with her, faces her own hardships in school as an adolescent girl. As she starts to make her own secrets, she slowly keeps distance from her mother.
