Stray Kids' Felix Appointed To Save The Children's Honors Club For Continuous Donations

Stray Kids’ Felix is now a member of Save the Children’s Honors Club!

On March 7, the international NGO (non-governmental organization) Save the Children announced that Felix has been appointed as a member of the Honors Club for his continuous donations.

A donor is appointed as a member of the Save the Children’s Honors Club if the individual has donated at least 30 million won (approximately $23,100) or is contracted to donate at least 30 million won within three years. Honors Club members are provided individual donation consulting, reports on donation projects, educational programs, related volunteer activities, and more.

Felix first took part in Save the Children through a bracelet campaign in June 2020, and on September 15 of the same year, he began a recurring donation for his birthday and revealed the certificate of donation. Recently, he also began supporting Save the Children’s campaign that provides meals to children of low-income families.

Felix commented, “I think all children deserve the right to have opportunities. As STAY (Stray Kids’ fan club) gave me strength, I also wanted to give a bit of love and hope to children in need.”

He continued, “I began recurring donations as I am receiving a lot of love from fans and felt that I want to share this love with children in need. Many fans pay attention to my expressions, actions, and music and are influenced by them, so I always thought that I wanted to do something helpful to society even if it’s small. I’m very happy that I can support children while paying more attention to Save the Children’s activities as a member of the Honors Club. I think the happiness and significance will multiply if more people join me.”

Felix debuted as a member of Stray Kids in 2018, and he recently also donated 50 million won (approximately $38,500) via World Vision to aid Turkey/Syria earthquake relief efforts. Stray Kids is currently gearing up for their next comeback, having already completed filming of their new music video.
