NCT 127, TXT, BTS, Stray Kids, NewJeans, TWICE, And LE SSERAFIM Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on March 18!

NCT 127’s repackaged album “Ay-Yo” entered the chart at No. 1 this week, over a month after its initial release in Korea. (Although “Ay-Yo” was originally released in Korea and on digital platforms back in January, the album was only physically released in the United States on March 3, pushing back its debut on the U.S. charts.)

In addition to topping the World Albums chart, “Ay-Yo” also debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200, making NCT 127 only the second K-pop artist in history to chart five different albums in the top 15.

After five consecutive weeks at No. 1, TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” fell to No. 2 on the World Albums chart this week. The mini album also successfully remained in the top 60 of the Billboard 200 for a sixth consecutive week.

BTS’s anthology album “Proof” stayed strong at No. 4 in its 39th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while their 2020 album “Map of the Soul: 7” held steady at No. 7 (in its 129th week) and RM’s solo album “Indigo” ranked No. 12 (in its 14th week).

Stray Kids’ “MAXIDENT” charted at No. 6 in its 19th non-consecutive week on the chart, and NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” rose to No. 9 in its 22nd week.

TWICE’s “BETWEEN 1&2” climbed back up to No. 10 in its 24th week, while LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” re-entered the chart at No. 15, marking its 13th non-consecutive week on the chart.

Congratulations to all of the artists!
