BTS's Jimin, IVE, TWICE, TXT, Stray Kids, NCT 127, And xikers Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on April 22!

BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” spent its third consecutive week at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, in addition to becoming the first Korean solo album ever to spend three weeks in the top 25 of the Billboard 200. Jimin’s title track “Like Crazy” also spent a third week on the Hot 100, making him only the second solo artist in history to chart a Korean song for three weeks.

TWICE’s latest mini album “READY TO BE” climbed back up to No. 2 in its fifth consecutive week on the World Albums chart, and it also became the first album released by JYP Entertainment to spend five weeks in the top 75 of the Billboard 200.

TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” similarly climbed back up to No. 3 in its 11th consecutive week on the World Albums chart. The mini album also spent an 11th consecutive week in the top 100 of the Billboard 200, making TXT only the second K-pop artist ever to have three different albums spend 11 weeks each on the chart.

BTS’s anthology album “Proof” climbed back up to No. 6 in its 44th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while the group’s 2020 album “Map of the Soul: 7” stayed strong at No. 14 in its 134th non-consecutive week.

IVE’s first studio album “I’ve IVE” debuted at No. 7 on the World Albums chart, and their new title track “I AM” also debuted at No. 7 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

Stray Kids’ “MAXIDENT” held steady at No. 8 in its 24th non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while NCT 127’s repackaged album “Ay-Yo” similarly maintained its position at No. 10 in its sixth consecutive week.

Finally, xikers’ debut mini album “HOUSE OF TRICKY : Doorbell Ringing” came in at No. 12 in its second consecutive week on the chart.
