Upcoming sci-fi action series “Black Knight” has teased viewers with new stills!

Based on a webtoon, “Black Knight” takes place in 2071 when pollution has become so severe that people can’t survive without respirators. The series tells the story that unfolds as legendary deliveryman 5-8 (Kim Woo Bin) meets refugee Sa Wol (Kang You Seok), who dreams of becoming a deliveryman because they are the refugees’ only hope, and their struggle against Cheonmyeong Group, an organization that is eager to rule the world with their vicious cruelty.

The newly released stills capture the unique environment and dynamic story of “Black Knight.” After a comet collided on Earth, desertification sped up, leaving only a small number of humans to survive. However, social stratification has become more solidified than ever. While citizens of the general district live by purchasing oxygen and daily necessities, refugees who do not have enough resources try to survive by wandering in the labor market or becoming hunters who steal delivery goods.

The best deliveryman 5-8 helps the survival of mankind by delivering oxygen during the day, but he leads a double life as a Black Knight at night.

On the other hand, the world that Ryu Seok (Song Seung Heon)—the successor of Cheonmyeong Group—lives in seems to be far from desolation.

Refugee Sa Wol, who finds out about a deliveryman selection contest, goes to deliveryman 5-8 to receive training, taking a step forward to his impossible dream.
