tvN to Halt Airing Wednesday-Thursday Dramas

tvN will not be airing a new Wednesday-Thursday drama after the end of “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper.”

On April 25, tvN officially announced a change in their programming schedule: for the time being, they will no longer be airing Wednesday-Thursday dramas.

The network explained, “We plan to match changes in viewing patterns by being flexible about our programming [for Wednesday and Thursday evenings], without differentiating between genres such as dramas, variety, or culture.”

Following the conclusion of “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper” in May, a new variety show will take over its time slot, instead of a new drama. Starting on May 25, the 10:30 p.m. time slot will be filled by producing director (PD) Kim Tae Ho’s upcoming variety show “Dancing Queens on the Road,” which will star Lee Hyori, MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa, Uhm Jung Hwa, BoA, and Kim Wan Sun.
