Kim Hyang Gi, Ahn Dong Gu, And Giriboy Confirmed To Star In New Film
Kim Hyang Gi, Ahn Dong Gu, and Giriboy will be starring in the new film “Just Breathing Together Is Enough” (literal translation)!
On May 11, film production companies Opener Films and Myung Films shared, “Kim Hyang Gi and Ahn Dong Gu have been cast for the film ‘Just Breathing Together Is Enough’ and completed their first filming on May 1.”
Written and directed by rookie director Go Hyung Joo, “Just Breathing Together Is Enough” tells the story of a young couple trying to protect their dreams and love from harsh reality.
Kim Hyang Gi, who was the youngest to win Supporting Actress at the 39th Blue Dragon Film Awards through the film series “Along with the Gods” in 2018, will take on the role of Hwa Ran who works at a customer service center to make a living although she wants to become a webtoon author.
Ahn Dong Gu, who emerged as a rising star through Netflix’s “Sweet Home” and the drama “Our Beloved Summer,” will play Hwa Ran’s boyfriend Yi Wan, who works at a parcel distribution center after giving up on his dream of becoming a hip hop artist.
In addition, rapper Giriboy will portray Yi Wan’s friend Gyung Tae, who dreams of becoming a rapper. Giriboy, who starred in MBC’s historical drama “The Forbidden Marriage,” will take on the challenge to star in his first film as an actor.
