Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on May 27!
SEVENTEEN’s latest mini album “FML” climbed back up to No. 1 in its fourth week on the chart, marking its second non-consecutive week at the top. “FML” also became SEVENTEEN’s first album ever to spend three weeks in the top 40 of the Billboard 200 this week.
LE SSERAFIM’s first full-length album “UNFORGIVEN,” which topped the World Albums chart last week, stayed strong at No. 2 in its third consecutive week on the chart. “UNFORGIVEN” also charted in the top 50 of the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row, making LE SSERAFIM only the third K-pop girl group ever to chart an album in the top 50 for more than one week.
BTS’ Suga’s first official solo album “D-DAY” held onto its spot at No. 3 in its fourth week on the World Albums chart, in addition to achieving the highest ranking of any Korean solo album in its fourth week on the Billboard 200.
TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” which spent five weeks at No. 1 earlier this year, maintained its position at No. 4 in its 16th consecutive week on the World Albums chart. The mini album also continued to climb back up the Billboard 200, where it became TXT’s first album ever to spend 16 weeks on the chart.
TWICE’s latest mini album “READY TO BE” held steady at No. 6 in its 10th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” remained No. 7 in its eighth consecutive week on the chart.
Including Suga’s and Jimin’s solo albums, BTS once again landed a total of five albums in the top 15 this week. The group’s anthology album “Proof” defended its position at No. 9, while “Map of the Soul: 7” and “Love Yourself: Answer” climbed back up to No. 10 and No. 11 respectively.
Congratulations to all of the artists!
