NCT’s Taeyong Tops iTunes Charts Around The World With “SHALALA”

NCT’s Taeyong has swept music charts across the globe with his first solo album!

On June 5 at 6 p.m. KST, Taeyong made his highly-anticipated solo debut with his first mini album “SHALALA” along with the music video for the title track of the same name. Immediately upon its release, both the album and the title track shot to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries across the globe.

According to SM Entertainment, as of June 6, “SHALALA” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 30 different regions, including Brazil, Mexico, Chile, France, India, Spain, Russia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and more.

Additionally, “SHALALA” also topped the Worldwide iTunes Album charts and reached No. 1 on QQ Music’s Digital Album Sales chart in China.

Furthermore, the album’s title track of the same name “SHALALA” has soared to No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in 14 different regions around the world including Chile, Brazil, Dominican Republic, and Indonesia.
