Jo Yu Ri And Park Gyu Young Reported To Star In “Squid Game 2” + Netflix And Agencies Briefly Comment
Jo Yu Ri and Park Gyu Young might be joining the star-studded lineup of “Squid Game 2”!
On June 23, it was reported that former IZ*ONE member Jo Yu Ri and actress Park Gyu Young will be joining the cast of Season 2 of Netflix original series “Squid Game.”
In response to the report, a source from Netflix Korea stated, “We ask for your understanding that we cannot currently confirm whether Jo Yu Ri and Park Gyu Young will appear in ‘Squid Game 2.’”
Representatives of Jo Yu Ri’s agency WAKEONE Entertainment and Park Gyu Young’s agency Saram Entertainment also similarly stated, “It is information we cannot confirm. We ask for your understanding.”
Last year, Jo Yu Ri received high praise for her stellar acting skills after she made a special appearance in “Work Later, Drink Now 2.” Park Gyu Young is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming Netflix series “Celebrity.”
Previously on June 18, Netflix officially announced the cast lineup for “Squid Game 2,” which includes Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, Gong Yoo, Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, and Yang Dong Geun.
