Former Wonder Girls Member Sunye Reveals She Has Left BlockBerry Creative

Former Wonder Girls member Sunye has parted ways with BlockBerry Creative.

On June 29, Sunye released her new single “That’s Me,” which was featured on the soundtrack of the VR film “Girl, Lamp, Radio.”

That same day, the singer shared, “My exclusive contract with BlockBerry Creative recently expired, and I did not renew my contract. For the time being, I plan to continue my activities without an agency.”

Notably, “That’s Me” marks Sunye’s first release since leaving the agency.

After debuting as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007, Sunye officially left the group in 2015 after getting married and focusing on raising her children. However, in 2021, she returned to the industry through the tvN show “Mama the Idol,” and she signed with BlockBerry Creative in February 2022. In addition to releasing new solo music, Sunye also starred in the musical “Ruth” earlier this year.

Sunye is currently appearing on KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” as a narrator. Check out the latest episodes of the show with subtitles below!
