"Revenant" And "Durian's Affair" Earn Their Highest Saturday Ratings Yet; "See You In My 19th Life" Dips To All-Time Low
The battle for weekend drama ratings remains as fierce as ever!
On July 22, SBS’s “Revenant” achieved its highest viewership ratings ratings yet for a Saturday (when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Fridays) ahead of the final week of its run. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the thriller drama scored an average nationwide rating of 10.9 percent, making it the most-watched miniseries of the night.
TV Chosun’s “Durian’s Affair” also kicked off the second half of its run on its highest Saturday ratings yet. The fantasy romance drama scored an average nationwide rating of 5.4 percent for its latest episode.
With just three weeks left in its own run, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” similarly achieved its highest Saturday ratings to date last night. The romance drama earned an average nationwide rating of 21.7 percent, continuing its reign as the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life” dipped to its lowest ratings yet ahead of its series finale. The penultimate episode of the fantasy romance scored an average nationwide rating of 3.5 percent.
JTBC’s “King the Land” fell to an average nationwide rating of 9.0 percent for the night, while MBC’s “Numbers” dropped to a nationwide average of 2.4 percent.
