Channel A’s new Tuesday drama “Between Him and Her” is gearing up for its release!

On November 21, Channel A’s “Between Him and Her” shared a clip and photos from its first script reading. Director Park Sang Min and co-director Lee Yoo Yeon as well as actors Donghae, Lee Seol, Im Jae Hyuk, Yoon Ye Joo, Choi Won Myeong, Baek Soo Hee, Kim Hyun Mok, Park Jung Hwa, and Yeon Je Hyung were present on site, showcasing fantastic synergy from their first meeting.

Based on a popular webtoon, “Between Him and Her” is a realistic and relatable romance drama which aims to draw out the simultaneous emotions of boredom and affection that exist for long-term couples. The drama is written by Park Sang Min, who wrote the film “Love 911” and worked as a compositional writer on “Class of Lies.”

Donghae takes on the role of Jung Hyun Sung, who ambitiously launches a street fashion brand but struggles, whereas Lee Seol portrays Han Sung Ok, a jewelry designer who has been dating Jung Hyun Sung for seven years since their college days. At the script reading, Donghae and Lee Seol perfectly portrayed the reality of a long-term couple, whose relationship starts off with heart-fluttering moments just like any others’ but soon loses spark.

Actors Im Jae Hyuk and Yoon Ye Joo play Oh Min Hyuk and Kim Hye Ryung, whose 15-year-long friendship is at risk of turning into a romantic relationship.

Choi Won Myeong plays the role of An Si Hoo, who constantly makes flirtatious comments to Baek Soo Hee’s character Yoon Yoo Joo, who is six years older than him.

In addition, actors Im Jae Hyuk and Kim Hyun Mok, who star as Hyun Sung’s best friends Oh Min Hyuk and Kim Hyung Seob, and Ryu Eun Jung, who plays Sung Ok’s best friend Park Jung Hwa, will add laughter to the drama as they intervene in Hyun Sung and Sung Ok’s relationship.
