"Castaway Diva" And "My Demon" Dominate Most Buzzworthy Drama And Actor Rankings

“Castaway Diva” and “My Demon” topped this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors!

Ahead of its series finale, tvN’s “Castaway Diva” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

Not only did “Castaway Diva” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its leads also topped this week’s list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, where Park Eun Bin and Chae Jong Hyeop ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

SBS’s new drama “My Demon” took No. 2 on this week’s list of buzzworthy dramas, while stars Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung entered the actor list at No. 3 and No. 5 respectively.

In its final week on air, JTBC’s “Strong Girl Namsoon” climbed to No. 3 on the drama list, and its three leading ladies also claimed spots in the top 10 of the actor list: Lee Yoo Mi rose to No. 4, Kim Jung Eun to No. 6, and Kim Hae Sook to No. 8.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s new historical series “Korea-Khitan War” held onto its spot at No. 4 on the drama list.

MBC’s new romance drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” debuted at No. 5 on the drama list, with leads Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk entering the actor list at No. 7 and No. 10 respectively.

While the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list also includes cast members from OTT shows—and “Daily Dose of Sunshine” star Park Bo Young made this week’s list at No. 9.
