MBN’s upcoming drama “Missing Crown Prince” will hit screens five weeks later than initially planned to ensure better production.

Originally slated to premiere on March 9, “Missing Crown Prince” has now been postponed to April 13.

The production team stated, “In order to deliver a well-developed and flawless story, we decided to delay the premiere of ‘Missing Crown Prince.’ After thorough preparations, we will greet you with a production of utmost quality and a meticulously crafted story. Please anticipate the premiere of ‘Missing Crown Prince’ on April 13 at 9:40 p.m. KST.”

“Missing Crown Prince” is a romantic comedy set in the Joseon era about Crown Prince Lee Geon (Suho) who is kidnapped by Choi Myung Yoon (Hong Ye Ji), the woman who is set to become his wife. While on the run for their lives, romance winds up blossoming between them. The drama is a spin-off of “Bossam: Steal the Fate,” which set a new record for the highest viewership ratings in MBN history. It’s penned by the same writers Kim Ji Soo and Park Chul, who crafted the original series.

“Missing Crown Prince” will premiere on April 13 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
