HIGHLIGHT Reclaims Trademark Rights For Previous Group Name BEAST

HIGHLIGHT has reclaimed the trademark rights for their previous name BEAST!

On April 2, HIGHLIGHT’s agency Around Us Entertainment shared, “We smoothly completed the mutual agreement regarding the use of the trademark for BEAST.”

Nevertheless, the group will continue their promotions under the name HIGHLIGHT. The agency shared, “Regardless of the group name they promote under, it feels new to be able to showcase the group name BEAST. We hope that this becomes a meaningful gift to HIGHLIGHT fans for their 15th debut anniversary.”

HIGHLIGHT originally debuted under the group name BEAST in October 2009. After their exclusive contracts with CUBE Entertainment expired in February 2017, the group announced that they set up their own agency named Around Us Entertainment. Due to legal dispute surrounding the trademark at the time, the group announced that they will be promoting under the new name HIGHLIGHT.

HIGHLIGHT recently released their fifth mini album “SWITCH ON” along with the title track “BODY.”
