The ratings battle for Monday-Tuesday dramas is heating up!

As “Lovely Runner” went out last week with its highest viewership ratings, tvN’s new drama picked up the baton and premiered to a promising start.

According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere episode of tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 4.2 percent.

The sequel to OCN’s hit 2018 series “The Player,” “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” is a heist drama about a squad of talented swindlers who target the wealthy and corrupt by stealing dirty money that has been obtained through illegal means. The drama stars Song Seung Heon as con artist Kang Ha Ri and Oh Yeon Seo as Jung Soo Min, a mysterious enabler and observer who leads Kang Ha Ri back into the game.

Meanwhile, episode 7 of ENA’s “Crash” achieved its highest viewership rating of 5.1 percent, seeing a 0.1 percent increase from its previous episode’s rating and personal best score of 5.0 percent.

The latest episode of KBS2’s “Dare to Love Me” earned an average nationwide viewership rating of 1.1 percent, maintaining the same score as its previous episode’s rating.
