Watch: Disney+ Unveils Sneak Preview Of K-Drama Lineup For Rest Of 2024 And 2025
Get ready for an exciting lineup of programs from Disney+!
On September 12, Disney+ dropped a lineup video teasing their upcoming shows that will be released in the latter half of 2024 and in 2025.
Aside from the comic action investigation drama “Seoul Busters,” which just premiered on September 11, the 2024 lineup includes the chase crime drama “Gangnam B-Side” and renowned webtoon writer Kang Full’s new project “Light Shop.”
“Seoul Busters” is a comedy series following the transformation of the country’s lowest-ranking violent crimes unit into the nation’s top team after they are paired with an elite new leader. The drama stars Kim Dong Wook, Park Ji Hwan, Seo Hyun Woo, Park Se Wan, Lee Seung Woo, and more.
“Gangnam B-Side” is a crime series in which an elite detective who has been demoted, a prosecutor, and a mysterious broker team up to pursue dark forces against the backdrop of Gangnam at night. The drama marks the reunion of Ji Chang Wook and Jo Woo Jin, who previously starred in the thriller “Hard Hit” together.
“Light Shop” depicts the stories of the living and the dead whose worlds intersect through a mysterious shop that sells lamps. The drama draws attention as it is a new project by Kang Full, the author of Disney+’s hit series “Moving,” and also showcases a star-studded cast consisting of Joo Ji Hoon, Park Bo Young, Bae Sung Woo, Um Tae Goo, Seolhyun, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Min Ha, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Dae Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Kim Sun Hwa, and Kim Ki Hae.
Looking ahead to 2025, Disney+ also plans to release diverse dramas with powerful casts and unique themes such as “Trigger” (Kim Hye Soo, Jung Sung Il, Joo Jong Hyuk), “Hyper Knife” (Park Eun Bin, Sol Kyung Gu), “Knock Off” (Kim Soo Hyun, Jo Bo Ah), “Nine Puzzles” (Kim Da Mi, Son Suk Ku), “Low Life” (Ryu Seung Ryong, Im Soo Jung, Yang Se Jong), “Tempest” (Kang Dong Won, Jun Ji Hyun), and “Made in Korea” (Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung).
