Oh Na Ra, So Yoo Jin, Song Jin Woo, And More Confirmed For New Sitcom

Oh Na Ra, So Yoo Jin, Seo Hyun Chul, Song Jin Woo, and Park Young Gyu are set to star in the upcoming sitcom “Nation of Villains” (literal translation)!

“Nation of Villains” is a comedy that follows two spirited sisters and their eccentric families, capturing their chaotic yet heartwarming daily lives. Directed by Kim Young Jo known for “Woman of 9.9 Billion” and “Cinderella’s Sister,” the show boasts a stellar cast, promising plenty of laughter and nonstop entertainment.

Oh Na Ra plays Oh Na Ra, a strong-willed housewife and the fiercely competitive wife of Seo Hyun Chul. This marks her first sitcom role and reunites her with director Kim Young Jo after “Woman of 9.9 Billion,” raising anticipation for their comedic synergy.

So Yoo Jin takes on the role of Oh Yoo Jin, Na Ra’s younger sister and the wife of Song Jin Woo. A highly educated scholar with a doctorate in food and nutrition, she dreams of becoming the next “Big Mama,” a renowned chef. However, in reality, she works as a part-time cooking class instructor. Having endured years of scolding from her older sister, she now relies on Na Ra for household necessities after her husband Song Jin Woo gets into trouble.

Seo Hyun Chul plays Na Ra’s husband Seo Hyun Chul, a corporate planning director at a major company. A highly anxious perfectionist, he believes the world is so unstable that it could collapse at any moment. One day, he suddenly faints without explanation and begins experiencing panic symptoms, leading him to investigate the cause of his distress.

Song Jin Woo portrays Song Jin Woo, Yoo Jin’s husband and the father of two. A corporate planning manager at the same company as Hyun Chul, he loses his authority as head of the household after an unexpected incident. Despite being at the bottom of the family hierarchy, he remains full of energy and high-strung, believing his sister-in-law Na Ra is the only one who truly understands him.

Park Young Gyu plays Oh Young Gyu, the father of Na Ra and Yoo Jin. A sculptor who shot to fame in 1978, he has struggled to regain success since his first major work. A carefree drifter, Oh Young Gyu divorced his wife Choi Gwang Ja a decade ago due to personality differences. Now, fate brings a captivating woman into his life, and he falls in love once again.
