
SBS Reveals 2025 K-Drama Lineup
SBS is gearing up for another year of exciting K-dramas!
With SBS having started the year strong with their hit drama “Love Scout” starring Han Ji Min and Lee Jun Hyuk, the broadcasting station previewed their star-studded K-drama lineup for 2025.

“Buried Hearts”
Korean Title: “보물섬”
Cast: Park Hyung Sik, Heo Joon Ho, Lee Hae Young, Hong Hwa Yeon
Broadcast Details: Premieres February 21, airs Fridays and Saturdays at 10 p.m. KST
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.36 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won.
“The Haunted Palace”
Korean Title: “귀궁”
Cast: Yook Sungjae, Bona, Kim Ji Hoon
Broadcast Details: Premieres April 2025
“The Haunted Palace” follows the story of Yeo Ri (Bona), a shaman who rejects her destiny as a spiritual medium, and Gang Cheol Yi (Kim Young Kwang), an Imugi (mythical serpent) trapped in the body of Yeo Ri’s first love Yoon Gap (Yook Sungjae). Together, they face a vengeful Eight Feet Tall spirit targeting the royal family. Check out a teaser for the drama here!
“Our Movie”
Korean Title: “우리 영화”
Cast: Namgoong Min, Jeon Yeo Been
Broadcast Details: Premieres April 2025
“Our Film” follows the story of a film director Lee Je Ha (Namgoong Min), who experiences a “sophomore slump” and loses momentum after a successful first project, and terminally ill actress Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), who finally tries to live as the main character at the end of her own life. “TRY: We Become Miracles” (literal translation)
Korean Title: “트라이:우리는 기적이 된다”
Cast: Yoon Kye Sang, Im Se Mi, Kim Yo Han
Set in a high school rugby club, “TRY: We Become Miracles” tells the story of young rugby players facing the world and becoming miracles themselves. Yoon Kye Sang takes on the role of Joo Ga Ram, who was once the hope of Korean rugby but hits rock bottom due to a drug scandal. He returns to his alma mater’s rugby team as a contract coach and becomes the center of a storm. Watch a teaser for the drama here!
“Would You Marry Me?” (literal title)
Korean Title: “우주메리미”
Cast: Choi Woo Shik, Jung So Min
“Would You Marry Me” is a romantic comedy about marketing team leader Kim Woo Joo (Choi Woo Shik), the only son and fourth-generation heir of South Korea’s oldest bakery Myungsoondang, and designer Yoo Mary (Jung So Min) as they enter a high-stakes, 90-day fake marriage to win a luxurious newlywed home.
“The Mantis” (literal translation)
Korean Title: “사마귀”
Cast: Go Hyun Jung, Jang Dong Yoon
Based on the French thriller “La Mante,” “The Mantis” follows Jung Yi Shin (Go Hyun Jung), a famous serial killer nicknamed “The Mantis” who brutally murdered five men 20 years ago and has been imprisoned ever since. When a new serial killer emerges, copying The Mantis’s distinctive style, the police approaches Jung Yi In for her assistance in solving the case. Jang Dong Yoon will star as Jung Yi Shin’s estranged son Cha Soo Yeol, a detective who passionately throws himself into solving the Mantis copycat murders. Check out a teaser for the drama here!
“Shouldn’t Have Kissed” (literal translation)
Korean Title: “키스는 괜히 해서!”
Cast: Jang Ki Yong, Ahn Eun Jin, Kim Moo Joon, Woo Davi
“Shouldn’t Have Kissed” follows the story of Go Da Rim (Ahn Eun Jin), a single woman who fakes being a married mother to land a job, and Gong Ji Hyuk (Jang Ki Yong), a team leader who falls for her.

“Taxi Driver 3”
Korean Title: “모범택시3”
Cast: Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, Bae Yoo Ram
The “Taxi Driver” series follows a secretive taxi service that delivers justice on behalf of victims who have been failed by the legal system. Season 3 will reunite the entire Rainbow Taxi team: Lee Je Hoon returns as Kim Do Gi, the skilled driver at the core of Rainbow Taxi, and Kim Eui Sung reprises his role as Jang Sung Cheol, the team’s steadfast leader. Pyo Ye Jin is back as hacker Ahn Go Eun, while Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram return as Choi Kyung Goo and Park Jin Uhn, the resourceful engineering duo.

“Human Starting From Today” (literal translation)
Korean Title: “오늘부터 인간입니다만”
Cast: Kim Hye Yoon, Lomon
“Human Starting from Today” is a fantasy rom-com drama that tells the story of gumiho (nine-tailed fox) Eun Ho (Kim Hye Yoon) who, unlike the traditional gumiho that bewitches men and eats their livers in hopes of becoming a human, lives a carefree life while avoiding good deeds and men for fear of becoming human. However, her life takes a turn when she unexpectedly becomes human after an accident involving narcissistic star soccer player Kang Si Yeol (Lomon) who suddenly enters her life.
