“Heo’s Diner” has unveiled a new set of behind-the-scenes stills ahead of its next episode!
Based on the web novel of the same name, “Heo’s Diner” is a fantasy rom-com that follows Heo Gyun (EXO’s Xiumin), a figure from the Joseon era, who unexpectedly travels 400 years into the present time and begins running a restaurant.
In the newly released stills, Xiumin is seen deeply focused on reading the script and analyzing his character. His intent gaze reflects his passion and dedication to the role.
Xiumin shared his thoughts on the show by saying, “‘Heo’s Diner’ can be summed up in one word: ramen. It’s a familiar taste, but always delicious, which makes you want more. You can safely look forward to the story ahead.”
Meanwhile, WJSN’s Chu So Jung (Exy) lights up the set with her bright, innocent smile. Director Oh Hwan Min praised her performance, commenting, “Even though her role required a lot of emotional ups and downs, Chu So Jung maintained a great balance with the cast throughout the entire shoot.”
Chu So Jung also spoke about her experience with Kim Hee Jung, who plays her character’s mother. She said, “I remember the emotional scene I shot with Kim Hee Jung. I was really nervous since it was early on in the shoot, but she was always patient, held my hand, and helped me a lot. Thanks to her, I was able to focus on my acting.”
Finally, the stills show Lee Sae On and Lee Soo Min, who both play dual roles, in both traditional and modern attire, showcasing their strong presence and versatility as they embody the different charms of their respective roles.
