Han Ji Min Embraces Son Suk Ku + Makes Kim Hye Ja Jealous In "Heavenly Ever After"
Get ready for an uncomfortable encounter on the next episode of “Heavenly Ever After”!
JTBC’s “Heavenly Ever After” is a transcendent new romance drama starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death. Unlike the other residents of heaven—including her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), who has chosen to return to the 30-something version of himself—Lee Hae Sook makes the unusual choice to keep her 80-year-old appearance.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming second episode, Lee Hae Sook visits the Heaven Support Center together with her husband on her second day in heaven. The center’s director (Chun Ho Jin) welcomes Lee Hae Sook with open arms and a gentle smile, while Lee Hae Sook looks at him in awe, as if she is in the presence of a divine being.
The problems start in the next set of photos, where the mysterious Som Yi (Han Ji Min) has come all the way to the newly reunited couple’s house in heaven. As soon as she spots Go Nak Joon, Som Yi—who was waiting outside the house—rushes to embrace him, seemingly uncaring of Lee Hae Sook’s reaction to her sudden display of affection.
While Go Nak Joon is visibly flustered by Som Yi’s unexpected hug and Lee Hae Sook looks on in shock, Som Yi seems blissfully unaware of the couple’s response as she holds Go Nak Joon tight with an expression of pure joy.
To find out what Som Yi’s story is—and what sort of connection she has to Go Nak Joon—catch the second episode of “Heavenly Ever After” on April 20 at 10:30 p.m. KST!
