"Spring Of Youth" Introduces Stellar Supporting Cast Lineup Ahead Of Premiere
SBS’s upcoming drama “Spring of Youth” has revealed its supporting cast lineup, including Jo Han Chul, Kim Jong Tae, Cha Chung Hwa, Seo Hye Won, Kim Sun Min, Han Yoo Eun, and Han Jin Hee!
“Spring of Youth” follows Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a superstar and a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls in college and begins to navigate campus life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and joins a college band, reigniting his love for music.
Jo Han Chul plays Jo Sang Heon, the CEO of JO&JO Entertainment, dubbed the “Midas of the music industry.” He brought Sa Gye into “The Crown” as the final member and turned him into a global superstar, but he later plays a key role in expelling him from the group.
Kim Jong Tae plays Seo Min Chul, the president of Hanju University Hospital and father of Seo Tae Yang (N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub), whose obsession with his son, who has been accepted into Hanju Medical School, fuels conflict.
Cha Chung Hwa plays Kim Ja Young, Kim Bom’s aunt who has been living with Kim Bom ever since Kim Bom’s mother passed away six years ago. Though she often causes financial trouble with her failed business ventures, she is a lovable character who deeply cares for Kim Bom.
Seo Hye Won plays Bae Gyu Ri, who is Kim Ja Young’s daughter, Kim Bom’s cousin, and an ardent fan of Sa Gye. She brings vibrant energy to the story with her unpredictable mood swings.
Kim Sun Min plays Gong Jin Gu, a computer science student at Hanju University and a drum genius who often mediates between Sa Gye and Seo Tae Yang, who frequently clash.
Han Yoo Eun portrays Georgina, the chief producer at JO&JO Entertainment and the only daughter of Jo Sang Heon. She is the hidden mastermind behind The Crown’s rise to global fame.
Han Jin Hee plays Yoon Seung Soo, a manager at JO&JO Entertainment and a naturally gifted dancer who becomes Sa Gye’s dance teacher. Despite their 10-year age gap, he shares a close, brotherly bond with Sa Gye.
The production team praised the cast, saying, “Jo Han Chul, Kim Jong Tae, Cha Chung Hwa, Seo Hye Won, Kim Sun Min, Han Yoo Eun, and Han Jin Hee leave a strong impression in every scene they appear in,” and added, “Please look forward to ‘Spring of Youth,’ which will showcase the true essence of great acting.”
