May Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rookie idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idol groups, using big data collected from April 1 to May 1. Only idols who debuted in 2023 or later were considered for the rankings.

KiiiKiii held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 1,634,366. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “I DO ME,” “BTG,” and “KiiiKiii BOX,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “Gen Z,” “natural,” and “advertise.” KiiiKiii’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 87.49 percent positive reactions.

Hearts2Hearts maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 1,302,832 for May.

ILLIT jumped to third place after seeing a whopping 128.87 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score for the month to 1,105,980.

TWS took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 979,811, marking a 51.56 percent rise in their score since last month.

Finally, izna rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 889,692, marking an impressive 106.26 percent increase in their score since April.
