SBS’s upcoming drama “Our Movie” has shared a peek inside its first script reading!

“Our Movie” tells a poignant love story that can’t be put off until tomorrow. It follows Lee Jae Ha (Namgoong Min), a film director with no future, and Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), an actress who lives each day as if it were her last.

The script reading session was attended by director Lee Jung Heum, writers Han Ga Eun and Kang Kyung Min, and the cast, including Namgoong Min, Jeon Yeo Been, Lee Seol, Seo Hyun Woo, and more. As the session began, the actors fully embraced their characters and the story, filling the room with emotion.

Namgoong Min brought depth to the role of Lee Jae Ha, a director starting a new project to overcome past trauma. He naturally captured the character’s emotional sensitivity, guiding the flow of the script reading. When he called out, “Action,” “Cut,” and, “OK,” his voice echoed the confident presence of a director at work, mirroring Lee Jae Ha’s role in the story.

Jeon Yeo Been, who plays Lee Da Eum, an aspiring actress with a rare disease, brought out the character’s charm and determination to live in the moment. Her upbeat tone, playful gestures, and radiant smile brought the scene to life with thoughtful detail.

Lee Seol captivated as top movie star Chae Seo Young, heightening immersion by portraying the poise of a top star as well as her character’s complex feelings toward Lee Jae Ha.

Seo Hyun Woo portrayed film producer Boo Seung Won with great charisma, earning praise from director Lee Jung Heum after Seo Hyun Woo delivered his line, “Just spend it!” in a scene negotiating production costs. The director remarked, “I want to work with a CEO like him.”

After the reading, Namgoong Min shared his thoughts: “I think this will be a great drama. If you’ve been waiting for a well-made series, I hope you’ll wait and tune in.”

Jeon Yeo Been added, “I’m about to start filming with a heart full of nerves and excitement. I’ll soon greet viewers with the gift-like drama ‘Our Movie,’” increasing excitement for the show’s premiere.
