May Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from Aprli 3 to May 3.

Yoo Jae Suk topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,145,844 for May. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “How Do You Play?”, “Running Man,” and “Just an Excuse,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “familiar,” “communicate,” and “talk.” Yoo Jae Suk’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.28 percent positive reactions.

Kim Jong Min, who tied the knot last month, shot to second place after seeing a 105.13 percent increase in his brand reputation index since April. His total score for the month came out to 4,580,225.

Kim Jong Kook rose to third place with a brand reputation index of 3,627,883, marking a 32.81 percent increase in his score since last month.

Shin Dong Yup took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,142,165, and Cho Sae Ho came in at a close fifth with a score of 2,116,045.
