Mnet’s upcoming boy group survival show “BOYS II PLANET” has released its first mood poster!

“BOYS II PLANET” is a global K-pop project where fans from around the world help produce and launch a top-tier boy group. The show aims to create the ultimate K-pop boy group by highlighting the unique personalities and stories of contestants from around the world.

The newly released poster features a boy holding a light, trying to illuminate the darkness. Standing at the starting point of “BOYS II PLANET,” the boy conveys strong determination to move toward the light despite the darkness, along with the excitement of meeting global fans for the first time.

More mood posters will be released over the next three days through the show’s official social media accounts. The posters will include lyrics from the program’s theme song, raising anticipation.

The “BOYS II PLANET” production team shared, “This mood poster marks the official beginning of the show. We’ll reveal a stronger theme song, an upgraded format, diverse participants, and creative content step by step, so please stay tuned and show your support.”

“BOYS II PLANET” was originally planned as two separate audition programs—“BOYS II PLANET K” and “BOYS II PLANET C”—each debuting its own group. However, the format has been changed. The show will now begin with the two versions airing separately, then merge into a single program that follows the journey of forming one global boy group.

“BOYS II PLANET K” will premiere on July 17, and “BOYS II PLANET C” will premiere on July 18.
