"The First Night With The Duke" Premieres To Promising Start

KBS2’s new drama “The First Night With the Duke” is off to a promising strong!

According to Nielsen Korea, the June 11 premiere of KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The First Night With the Duke” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 3.3 percent, a boost from the final rating of 1.0 percent achieved by its predecessor drama “Pump Up the Healthy Love.”

“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).

SBS’s “Spring of Youth” achieved an average nationwide viewership rating of 0.8 percent, seeing the same score as the previous episode’s rating.
